始建于1935年，是一座收藏、保护和研究汉代画像石刻的专题艺术博物馆。馆藏画像石近三千块，是目前我国建馆最早、藏品最多、规模最大的汉画像石博物馆，全国重点博物馆。

　　Nanyang Museum of the Han Dynasty Stone Relief, which was originally built in 1935, is a specialized art museum for the collection, protection and research of stone relief of the Han Dynasty with a collection of stones approximating 3,000 pieces. It is the earliest-built and the largest-scale Han Dynasty Stone Relief Museum with the largest number of collections in China hitherto, being a key museum in the whole country.
