Sheqi Shanshaan Guildhall

　　Sheqi Shanshaan Guildhall was originally built in the 21st year of Emperor Qianlong’s Reign in the Qing Dynasty, i.e. in 1756. Among the existing 80 or so guildhall-related ancient architectural complexes in China, Sheqi Shanshaan Guildhall is widely acclaimed by insiders as “China’s Number One Guildhall” in that it has the grandest architectural scale, the best preservation, the most exquisite decorative craftsmanship, and the profoundest commercial and cultural implication. It is a key cultural and historic site under state protection and a three-star tourist scenic spot in the country.
